Steampunk Airship WIPby ~Meloncov

An airship I'm doing as part of a larger project. The modeling is pretty much done, but the textures still need a lot of work.

Good--but yeah, the texture... right now the lower part of it looks like it was carved out of one block of wood. But i like the basic structure

Yeah, texturing is not my strong suit. Right now I'm struggling to get the textures right on a sword, so doing decent textures for a whole ship is pretty intimidating.

If I'm feeling perfectionist, I'll probably completely redo the hull of the ship. The model itself doesn't give the impression of being made of multiple pieces of wood, making it harder to texture believably.
